We thank God for once again having the honor of hosting you professors, dear colleagues, and students at the 2nd biennial international congress of new challenges of sports sciences and health on the Silk Road.
The aim of this congress is to bring together academic members, students, executive managers, athletes, and all those interested in thinking together, exchanging the latest fundamental, developmental, and applied achievements, and moving towards meeting health needs. The society with emphasis on sports sciences and national and international development is organized virtually by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences of Tabriz University with the presence of prominent domestic and foreign scientists and researchers on 20-21 february, 2024.
In the past, the Silk Road connected different commercial networks and today it is also considered a symbol of scientific, cultural, and commercial exchanges at the international level. It can be effective in the direction of scientific and sports diplomacy, and the role of our country, Iran, is emphasized in this congress that can be a link between East and West, effective in strengthening international communication, especially in the field of sports.
Today, the role of sports in individual and social life is clear, and what our country needs is a scientific and practical attitude and performance in various fields of sports science. In this regard, presenting the latest scientific achievements and implementing them can lead to sustainable development in this field.
This congress provides a great opportunity for scientific exchanges and sharing of research findings to improve the scientific and applied level in the field of sports sciences and related disciplines. Also, side meetings were held in the form of specialized scientific workshops, challenges and perspectives of sports science and will create a suitable and efficient atmosphere for the active participation of sports science experts for scientific synergy. Therefore, we invite all distinguished professors and respected colleagues to help us in carrying out this important responsibility by providing their opinions and active participation in planning, presenting speeches and warm presence so that these valuable achievements and scientific efforts can improve the quality of the congress. The services provided by the sports science team will be effective and this information exchange will be used in scientific, educational, and operational planning in the country.
We hope the presence of a large number of experts along with the executive directors of various fields of sports in the country will transform and empower the participants and managers and provide clear solutions and policies for everyone.
